Welcome to the official "Quitter’s Week." 
The data tells us that by the second week of February, 92% of people have already abandoned their goals. They’ve let the "freeze" of resistance win. Only 8% remain consistent.
Which category are you in today? 
Last week, I told you to "Give up on your goals." I said that because if your goals are just a "fix-it" project born out of a feeling of lack, they won’t survive this week. To stay in that 8%, you need something bigger than a goal. You need a Mission. 
Healthy is an outfit that looks different on everybody
Yesterday, I did something uncomfortable. I posted a photo of myself in a bathing suit.
Since my early adulthood, I have felt the harshness of "perfect" beauty standards—the images that tell us there is only one way to look and feel healthy. But the truth is, healthy is an outfit that looks different on everybody. My exposure wasn't about showing skin; it was about exposing my choices. Wellness isn’t about how you look; it’s about functionality and vitality. It’s about what your body can do—how it moves, how it breathes, and how it supports your life.
When you look in the mirror, what do you see? If you see judgment, I want you to apply Life Principle #2: Replace Judgment with Curiosity. Are you honoring your body’s unique ability to be vital today?
I believe this is why The Wellness Vortex Habit Change Model is a perfect fit. It doesn’t squeeze you into a rigid framework. Instead, it is an evolution that morphs and flows with your life. You don’t squeeze into the framework; the framework supports your evolution.
The Comparison Trap 
Yesterday, during a session where we shared our vision boards, I noticed how easily the thought of comparison can creep in.
Do you ever catch yourself looking at someone else’s progress and saying, "Good for you"? While it sounds supportive, often it’s a way of separating yourself. You turn someone else's success into your excuse.
In The Wellness Vortex, we apply Life Principle #2: Replace Judgment with Curiosity. Instead of "Good for you," try asking, "What are they doing that I can learn from?" Someone else's progress is not your lack. Comparison is an opportunity to grow. 

My mission this season: Wake up to Wellness. 
This is exactly why I have started this season of my mission. Every year, I dedicate my energy to raising funds for a cause I am passionate about.
My whole purpose for entering the Health and Fitness Competition is to raise awareness for this message: Wake up to Wellness. Get up, Dress up, Show up—you can look and feel good at any age. 

This year, I am using this platform to support the B+ Foundation and the children who are fighting their own battles with cancer to find their way back to wellness.
