Yesterday, I stepped onto a cold stage to play Queen 00, the Queen who steals time. Even as I reflect on that performance today, I am struck by a harsh reality: we don't just have our time stolen—we steal our time from ourselves.

Tomorrow is Monday, January 5th. For most, the holiday lights are coming down and the "grind" is starting back up. They fall right back into the rabbit hole of stress, waiting for the next holiday to feel alive again. They allow the "grind" to steal their presence.
But I want to remind you of the most powerful tool you own: You always have a choice. You always have the choice to manage yourself within the time we all have. In The Wellness Vortex, we teach that transformation is not about a change; it is about a choice, one moment at a time. Relaxing is a choice, stress is a choice, and happiness is a choice. Every single moment is an opportunity to choose your state of being.

I look at the photo of myself as a 5-year-old girl sitting in a dark corner [See My Power Journal Story], and I realize she is still in me. She is the reason I could stand on that stage yesterday and own my power. I manage my time (Habit #6) and my life because I stopped waiting for permission and started making the choice. 16 years ago, I was an adult woman frozen by stage fright, crying in a bathroom. Yesterday, I owned the stage as a Queen.
What is YOUR true desire?
I want to challenge you right now: What is the deep, visceral desire inside of you? Not what your spouse, your doctor, or even your mentor wants. What do YOU really want? Whether it is your health, your fitness, your business, or your life—you must build the roots of your non-negotiable wellness first. That is the only way to sustain the life you desire. You must commit to the habit: I manage my time. When you own the management of your time, you literally own your life.
Don't wait for it—Generate it.
You don’t have to wait for the end of the year to feel the way you want to feel. Think of someone you love so deeply that you don't have to "try" to feel it; the love is just there, instantly. You can do the same with your future. Feel into your best life right now. Generate those physical sensations in your body and embody them today. You aren't just managing time; you are choosing your state of being.
