The Current State of Wellness
Happy Sunday,
As you’re reading this, I am actually in the air, heading back to Dallas from Tucson after celebrating my daughter Angela’s graduation. Being in transit has given me a moment to pause, but the reflection I want to share with you today isn't new—it’s something that has been on my heart for many years, truly since I first created the Wellness Vortex and My Power Journal about three years ago.
The Elephant in the Room
In my wellness career, which started at age 17, I see the biggest elephant in the room clearly. We often view wellness as something we "have" to do later, but the truth is:
Wellness is what you are doing right now.
There is no such thing as "not doing" wellness. Every choice you make—how you breathe, how you sit, how you react—either takes us up the Vortex or down the Vortex. We often categorize "not doing enough" as procrastination, but in reality, you are always doing something.
