3 Steps to your Masterpiece of life: my personal story
Blessed Sunday, I have a confession.
My house has been under construction since Thanksgiving 2025.
For months, I’ve lived in the middle of boxes and dust. And for months, I’ve been sitting on my sofa, looking at the mess, and saying the same three words: *“I’ll do it later.”*
I was tired. I was overwhelmed. I was waiting for the construction to "finish" before I felt I could truly start "living" again.
But **one day, I looked up at my floor lamp** in the corner. It was covered in a thick layer of white dust. I actually thought to myself, *“Maybe it’s a special matte finish?”* I took one finger and made **just one stroke**.
Beneath the dust was the original color. Bright. Clear. Original.
In that moment, I was reminded of the very foundation of my life and my work.
I realized that "Mastery" isn't about the grand renovation. It’s about the corners we choose to stop ignoring. It’s about the "dust" we allow to settle in our bodies, our minds, and our habits while we wait for a "better time" to start.
**This is exactly how I created The Wellness Vortex Habit Change Model.**
I have lived by these principles for years, and they are the same ones I teach my clients every day to help them master their wellness through three pillars: Mindset, Nutrition, and Fitness.
This weekend, I took these principles to the stage and placed 2nd in the **Toastmasters International Speech Contest.** 🏆
I didn't win because of a "perfect" life; I won because of the roadmap I follow every single day:
The Roadmap to Your Masterpiece
Step 1. Be Curious (No Judgment):
Look at the dusty corners of your life. Is it your nutrition? Your movement? Your emotional peace? Don't judge the dust—just notice it.
Step 2. Be Consistent (The 10-Minute Rule):
You don’t need to overhaul your entire life at once. You just need 10 minutes. 10 minutes is the currency of momentum.
Step 3. Be Intentional (The Big Picture):
Step back. Your life isn't a series of chores; it’s a masterpiece in progress.
**It’s not a chore. It’s a choice.**
Every 10-minute walk, every mindful meal, and every breath of silence is a stroke on the canvas of your life. 🖌️
